Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Usage data: We store your quiz history, study notes access, and credit balance to provide the service.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC. We receive only a payment confirmation and transaction ID from Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To generate quizzes and study notes
- To process credit purchases
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets)
- To improve the service
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate PodQuiz:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting (privacy policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy)
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered quiz and study notes generation (privacy policy)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (privacy policy)
- Vercel — website hosting (privacy policy)
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication (keeping you signed in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
6. Data Retention
Your account data and quiz history are retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@cherrypisolutions.com.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
